In the beginning of May 2024, my rooftop-tent and awning were installed on my van. Both the rooftop-tent and the awning are from the brand "Wildland".
The rooftop-tent is called "Wildland Bush Cruiser" and is a hardtop rooftop-tent which folds open from behind. It is 2.10 meters long and 1.20 meters wide, but as I mostly travel alone this is more than enough room (there is also one available in 1.40 meters wide).
The rooftop-tent comes with build in lighting which can be powered by a simple power-bank. It also contains two bags for shoes or other stuff (which hand outside of the tent, see picture). It also contains windows on both sides including fly nets. the rear is mostly used as entry, but the ladder can also be placed on either side of the tent (except not on the side when the awning is out of course).

The ladder on the back comes with the rooftop-tent and can be folded to about 50 cm in height so it easily fits in my van somewhere (do notice, that according to Wildland, the ladder can not be place inside the tent for the rooftop-tent is really low when folded in, round and about 15 cm when it's closed, see picture).

My van has two longitudinal carriers which my dealer installed for me. The width carriers are from Thule including anti-theft locks.
Next to the rooftop-tent there is also a small bed inside my van which I will show in a guide tour on my YouTube Channel. Feel free to subscribe to stay up to date with new video's!
The awning is 2 meters wide when folded in, and is attached to my Thule Bars. when folded out the awning is 2 meters wide and stretches out to 2.40 meters which gives you plenty of room to stand of sit underneath, even with more persons. The disadvantage is, that it must always be stretched out to 2.40 meters, there is no adjustment position in between.
The folding in can be done with one person but it needs a little practice to do it the right way. there is a proper waterproof cover around the awning which closes real nice once folded in. If the awning might get wet due to rain when folded out, you can fold it in when still wet, but you need to fold it out wihtin max 5 days and let it dry to prevent it from getting moldy.
